Becoming Her Skills Circle: Authenticity
October 26 @ 8:00 pm – 9:30 pm EDT
What if belonging didn’t require you to leave parts of yourself behind?
Most of us don’t intentionally decide to become less authentic.
It happens quietly.

We learn which parts of ourselves are welcomed and which create tension. We become agreeable when we have something to say. We soften our opinions. Say yes when we mean no. Keep the peace. Play the role everyone expects us to play.
And after years of adapting, it can become surprisingly difficult to answer a simple question:
What is actually true for me?
In October’s Becoming Her Skills Circle, we’ll explore Authenticity—not as saying everything you think or refusing to compromise, but as learning to stay connected to yourself while you’re connected to others.
Together, we’ll notice where we tend to edit, perform, shrink, or shape-shift and practice choosing small moments of greater honesty and self-trust.
In this circle, we’ll explore:
- The difference between adapting and abandoning yourself
- Where you may be performing a role instead of expressing what’s true
- Why authenticity can sometimes feel risky
- How to recognize what’s genuinely true for you
- Small ways to practice being more fully yourself in everyday life
Through reflection, meaningful conversation, a guided exercise, and ritual, you’ll have space to reconnect with the woman underneath all the expectations.
You don’t need to reinvent yourself.
You may simply need to stop editing her.
